Pupils Summer Courses
Take advantage of the summer months of June and July to improve your English language skills. English Language summer courses are offered for adults, school pupils and university students.
School pupils ages 8 up to 16
These English courses are designed to reinforce the language areas which have already been covered during the year for each particular level. Intensive revision is provided and there is a lot of emphasis on speaking and effective communication. Groups are small, between 4 and 6 pupils. Role play and drama activities make these English summer courses an exciting and enjoyable productive period.
IGCSE preparation (2nd and 3rd Lyceum pupils)
IGCSE summer courses are designed for students who have already covered one year of the IGCSE course and would like to sit for the examination at the end of October. Students who are ready to begin the first year of the IGCSE course can also follow these lessons as a preparation for September. IGCSE course content includes:
- Writing skills
- Vocabulary Development
- Comprehension skills
- Listening Skills
- Effective oral communication
IELTS for third Lyceum pupils
Pupils who have followed an IGCSE course and have not succeeded obtaining the required grade in the IGCSE examination can follow a two- month IELTS course to meet the requirements of UK universities. The IELTS can be taken at the end of July at the British Council. IELTS lessons can be twice or three times per week, one and a half hours each lesson.
English Drama for pupils of all ages
Pupils of all ages can join our fun-packed English Drama courses – a great way to revise English language areas, and develop confidence in English oral communication. Contact our Administration Department for more derails.
